I wonder why Splatoon and Mario Maker increased in sales…
Bundles and this is the time of year when hw and sw increase.
The vita is doing good
Not really, and its pretty much dead outside of Japan as well.
Yes it is doing good not fantastic that’s it and don’t forget xbx day one
Ill think about it, i might get it for myself on christmas. Not day one though.
OK and why not backlog of games or school or just waiting for price to go down or reviews or life getting in the way lol
Mostly life, I have my last car payment this month (as a matter of fact, i pay my car note today) So i havent picked up many things this year for video games, but after this check im going to be going stupid with my game purchases again lol
Ha ha and what car do you own and when I move out I will save up for a Ferrari replica or a lamborghini diablo or lamborghini contach replica as my first car and can’t wait
Why splatoon and Mario maker increased in sales it’s have to be a lot of tried the games they were waiting for and got bored of them as these are Nintendo games and they are top quality games now people decide let’s try the best which was saved for the last.
Wow Wiiu is catching PS4 in sales that is cool and there are some good games on Wiiu and now Wiiu selling better than before it should have done all this before and 20K isn’t bad at all, keep it up.
Jesus fuck, that 3DS boost. I always underestimate how much Japan loves MonHunt.
Yeah that is crazy… good though obviously
Speaking about monster hunter, facebook keeps viewing a rip off chibi version of the game called Dragon hunter. if any one plays it, let me know how it is. I shit you not, it is like a good rip off though. Maybe a few tweaks here and there.
I’m not surprised. An extremely unshameful Pokémon rip-off has been floating around other social media channels for a good while too.
Gaia Online made two Pokemon rip-offs of their own. The first one was a couple of years ago & the second one was just this year. Or was it the end of last year..? *shrug* Whatever.
It might be the same game. I don’t remember the title, just an advert featuring a boy with Red’s color scheme and an obvious Charmander rip-off.
ahhhhh so now everyone is trying to be Chinese now? They are top number one for trying to make ripoff consoles.
I can only imagine what a Pokemon x Monster Hunter crossover would do for Japan.
It would sell zero copies because all of their heads would explode.
Wow those 3ds sales are CRAZY!!
I’m telling you all, you putting them down too dam fast, Nintendo will always have tricks up their sleeves. I like what I’m seeing from the new president! Better realize…
>>>Better to realise now than later that the Xbots will be a distant memory in the future>>>
Funny how people keep trying to pass off Nintendo as dead and their fans dying, then this happens.
Whats even funnier is your own reason to dis them even now. To be truthful, I can’t tell if your serious or trying to be a funny guy by trolling.
wait, wait…I misread that…my bad.
Let’s not delude ourselves here, though. Monster Hunter has no ties to Nintendo. This has more to do with Capcom saving every penny and the Monster Hunter Team opting for the weaker platform to save money (they’ve been reusing the same assets for what, 12 years?).
Fear the day when Capcom gives the MH Team a large budget.
That I can see do well for. While I still see “doom and gloom” for nintendo, I see them as idiots, because they don’t realize that nintendo is actually sitting pretty.
Obviously. You know how finances are, though. Things can turn south pretty quickly.
Yup, you know me well enough to know that. lol But the real reality is one game got famous super quick after the terrorist attack on paris. It could be older than I realize but its a game that cam super quick and I started hearing about it on splatoon, “Undertale”. Starting with a skeleton named “Sans”, that one blew my mind as fast as it took 2 weeks to get on nintendo’s eshop. Starting off as a PC game only. I did alot of research on it…and its an RPG unlike anything I saw. To become a monster murder or a monster saint…whole shit the game can be very disturbing and dark or can be a true heavenly justice. I’m getting off subject here though…however it proves that you can do anything in the digital realm…the gaming community.
Undertale came out back in mid-September, and it’s been quite famous for at least a month. I don’t know what your point is, though.
My point is that you can do anything you want with your own creations. well one half of it really. The other point is that Nintendo is far from being out. Because of this good news, I’m excited to try new things…and if a person like Toby Fox can make something simple go far, then I can have a good crack at it. If Toby Fox can make this masterpiece, good soul very bad soul, type RPG…”YOU”, then anyone with a very creative imagination can go along ways. Hhe heh…You just need the right team for it. In short, Do your best and you can live with your dreams without fail. Whoah, I’m way off topic and I gotta get ready for work.
I don’t fear that day, I long for it. I’ve always wanted a dark, up to date Monster Hunter game for consoles. The closest thing we had was MH3U, and it was pretty damn good. Although it was just a port from the 3ds..
Capcom knows it’s MH fanbase is dominated by Nintendo consumers. They will not risk taking the game off a nintendo platform with the type of success they are having. If Capcom ever did make a high budget MH game for consoles, it would be for a Nintendo console… Maybe multiplatform even…
That’s what I meant. Fear the day MH goes multiplat. The hardware sales will take a heavy hit if that happens.
Then again, Japan only cares for MH on portables and as of now the Vita isn’t really much of a competitor. Maybe next gen.
The 3ds always sells like this, this time of the year. It usually sells about 300-400k a week throughout December, so actually these numbers are a bit on the low side. Sometimes the 3ds will sell upwards of 600-700k a week, depending on what new games are out.
Lets hope the 3ds can keep pace with previous holiday sales. Unfortunately the West doesn’t have any games coming this Holiday for the 3ds..
Eeeeexcellent…..bring it here and double those sales >:)
*shrug* In a few months, we’ll find out if this week & the next few weeks of the holidays really did anything for the Wii U. Til then, I’m remaining skeptical. Last time we got hyped about the sales of Wii U, we discovered they only reached 11-12 million consoles sold worldwide. :/
