The 2D platformer was spotted on the Wii U eShop and will arrive in the New Year. It will retail for the usual price of €19.99 / £17.99.

Uhh hello! thay r just now getting the Wii verzon of Knew Souper Mario Broz. Wii #lels eruope is so behind compared two us hear in Amerika! :p Wii got that game in like 2010 #lels Eroupe is in the stone age. Well anyways i played this game with mii Mother and shii and mii love it! :) we have the new Wii called Wii U hear in Amerika and theres a U verzon of this game now maybee Eroupe will get that in 5 yeers or so !
What i cant understand since the wii is more powerful than the gamecube how hard is it to bring Gamecube games to the virtual console? Damn.
And too add what is the point of wasting time and energy to bringing wii games to the virtual console when the Wii U can play Wii games anyway?
I have never played this one personally.
But from what I can tell by watching a few of my family members play it back then in the past it’s basically just the original DS version with 4-player co-op.
It’s much better than the DS version, to be fair. Level design is much tighter.
I think they should hold off on putting Wii games on the eshop. N64 barely has any titles as it is, and the Gamecube doesn’t even have a single one.
Why buy this when you cpuld buy Super Mario Bros U, Luigi U, or Mario Maker? They should be bringing Gamecube games instead. While it was never promised, it was expected the Wii U would receive Gamecube games and that was a big buying factor for me.
Ahh, I remember when me and some of my college friends would gather and “try” to beat the game, but more often than not we wound up just killing each other, usually accidentally. Provided us and the other friends who just wanted to watch plenty of laughs, though, as well as some hilarious quips.

I’m not entirely sure about that- don’t forget there are still no desert or snow level palettes in Maker (though there should be).
This game DOES provide a lot of comedic value if you play with friends. Look at my comment above if you want an idea.

Having Wii games on the Wii U Virtual Console is SO pointless.
I have a 2TB because I’m to lazy to change discs. I love being able to just point and click on Punch Out!! while the disc sits somewhere in my house collecting dust.
I hated the wii version. Got bored, and was way too hard I thought lol giggidy!
*sigh* Meanwhile in the N64 Virtual Console area & GCN Virtual Console area…
I think there’s a reason there aren’t Gamecube games on Wii U VC yet. Not a great reason, but a reason.
The L and R buttons in a GC controller could be pressed in at various degrees, only a little to a full-on press. The pack-in controller for the U, the gamepad, cannot do that. I am not sure if the Classic or Pro controllers can do that or not.
Again, not a good reason, but a reason. You have to wonder if they actually tried during R&D for the Wii U.
