Junichi Masuda will be among the thousands of attendees at E3 2016. The Pokemon game director has confirmed that he is scheduled to attend this year’s expo as part of The Pokémon Company International. It’s too early to know what the company is planning to show at E3, but some fans are speculating that we could see more of the upcoming mobile game Pokemon GO, which is set to launch later this year.
Pokemon Game Director Junichi Masuda Will Be Attending E3 2016
It’ll be the announcement of Pokemon NX and NY. A brand new open world, fully immersive, multi-regional, 3D, 60 fps, first or third person pokemon game for the NX, with a full character creator, an online mode with servers, amiibo functionalities and an in-game TCG minigame. All 700+ pokemon will get their own amiibo figures over the course of the 20th anniversary, and only after they all come out will the game be released, with Legendaries being harder to find as amiibos to make it seem like you’re actually catching legendaries.
Something like that would give 80% of the pokemon fanbase heart attacks of happiness and leave the other 20% very, very moist.

The next Pokemon game better be good. I am sick of all of my favorite game series becoming terrible. This generation has been absolutely horrid. I need a good Pokemon game before I leave gaming entirely.
Talking about a mobile game at E3?
No no, you bring out the BIG guns for E3 (something Nintendo DIDN’T do last year, as we all know)- there’s definitely something much bigger on the horizon.
Just makimg a big guess here but, it’s probably be something to do with Pokemon 20th anniversary.

Since we’re nearing the 1 1/2 year point after ORAS’s release, the fact that they still haven’t announced it is giving me reeeeaaallllyyyy big hopes for the next installment in the Pokemon series.
E3 will be a good year for Pokemon, now hopefully the rest of Nintendo doesn’t fuck up like last year.
