Europe: Nintendo Downloads For March 10th 2016

This week’s Nintendo Downloads for Europe have been announced and it’s a retro themed week. The fantastic Super Metroid and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past will be available this week on the New Nintendo 3DS Super Nintendo Virtual Console. There’s also deals running if you own the very same games on the same Nintendo Network ID. If you don’t own a New Nintendo 3DS but have a Wii U then you’ll be pleased to know the Super Mario Advance series is heading to the platform. Anyway, here’s what’s set to be available this Thursday.

Wii U

  • Steel Rivals (nuGAME): €6.99/£5.99
  • Bird Mania Party (Teyon): €1.99/£1.79
  • Dreamals (XINESS): €4.99/£4.49
  • Star Ghost (Squarehead Studios): €8.99/£7.99

Wii U Virtual Console

  • Super Mario Advance (Nintendo, GameBoy Advance): €6.99/£6.29 (free if you already own the other two Super Mario Advance on the same Nintendo Network ID, until March 24th)
  • Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 (Nintendo, GameBoy Advance): €6.99/£6.29 (free if you already own the other two Super Mario Advance on the same Nintendo Network ID, until March 24th)
  • Super Mario Bros. 3: Super Mario Advance 4 (Nintendo, GameBoy Advance): €6.99/£6.29 (free if you already own the other two Super Mario Advance on the same Nintendo Network ID, until March 24th)

  1. Star Ghost looks pretty cool. I’m torn about getting Super Metroid. On one hand, I’d like to support the franchise a bit more. On the other hand, I’ve already bought it on Wii U (again), and I can play it almost flawlessly on my N3DS via homebrew.

    Decisions, decisions.
