Super Smash Bros creator Masahiro Sakurai will be hosting a livestream tomorrow in Japan. The footage will be pre-recorded and the stream is to celebrate his 500th Famitsu Column. You will be able to watch the stream live on the Famitsu Channel on NicoNico Douga at 9:30pm Japan Time. Here’s the times for the different regions! You can follow translated tweets, here.

Don’t get your hopes up guys. This will likely be an interview at most. Interviews are great, but don’t expect Wolf or Smash NX.
DLC is done. People who hope for any characters now are idiots.
Meh I still HOPE that more characters are coming but I dont think or believe that it will happen.

Smash NX doesn’t exist, People with a brain would know that, But it’s a shame they’ll believe anything at first glance.
I’m sure the IDEA for Smash on NX is in Nintendo’s mind.
Smash Bros being on NX may be a possibility, every Nintendo console since the N64 has had a Smash Bros title, but having it as a launch title is major wishful thinking. We JUST got SSB4 not even two years ago, people need to be patient.
There’s no question there will be a Smash NX, Smash makes a killing. Just not in the near future, maybe four or five years down the line.
I expect a full confession that he is retiring and or leaving Nintendo. Otherwise waste of my time.
He may announce or hint at the next title hes working on

I would’ve loved to have seen the reaction of somebody expecting something from Smash and then seeing Sakurai just chill with Fallout 4
Or Fire Emblem Fates since he says he’s a big Fire Emblem fan.
