Kit & Krysta, the hosts of the informative Nintendo Minute, are busy celebrating the release of Pokken Tournament which launched in Europe and North America today. To honour the release they have uploaded some content from the single player mode showcasing their favourite fighters which are Pikachu Libre and Machamp. I said the same thing on another article. But apparently I’m a cheap bastard because I prefer to get it later when it gets a price drop. *shrug* Oh well. I know my limits & I know what I want from my games. If it doesn’t have what I want, I’m not buying it. Otherwise, I’d just be wasting my money on an impulsive buy. No disagreement there. Nintendo does need some improvements. But to say they are absolute shit would be going too far. As much as I hate a lot of the crap they are pushing out of their rectum, they still have the occasional good hit. Til they pull a Sega & make a Sonic Boom like game for Zelda, Mario, etc or they pull a Konami & go too far with mobile crap, they are still a few levels above shit. It’s not by much but it could be worse.

Good point. I disagree with Triforce Heroes, though. It makes perfect sense because of it’s location in the downfall timeline. I guess Nintendo needed some kind of event that would keep the Hero occupied so Hyrule can get to the point it’s at in the original Legend of Zelda. And what better event than an event that everyone will surely hate & blame for Hyrule’s downfall since he’s saving a silly cosplay wardrobe instead of saving an entire kingdom from utter destruction & doom.
Oh, you did post something to that effect on another article. In that sense, and that sense only, I’ll allow it. Every other sense, I hate that game with every gamer fiber in me haha.

Anyone notice it just out when the guy started talking about how hard it is go get a hit in with slow characters? Then it cut back and he was all ‘TBH though you have more health and hit harder’.
Seemed like damage control to me. I’m going to get this game because it looks fun, but I have no doubt that Pikachu and Weavile will absolutely stomp slow characters 90% of the time.

I thought the same thing as did most people at the Early Access Competition (most people were using pikachu or libre) but Charizard went on to win the tourney that day. If your defense and counters are good the slow characters can be extremely brutal to the small fast characters.
I don’t understand the Pikachu Libre costume. Isn’t that popular in Mexico only? the whole Nacho Libre Mexican wrestling thing? It’s not big in Japan or the US, so why do they keep showcasing that Pikachu costume? Just curious is all.. I think it looks awful.
I prefer Pikachu Punk myself. If Pokemon Moon doesn’t let me transfer my Cosplay Pikachu to it from Omega Ruby, I’m gonna be so fucking pissed. Especially considering I put a lot of work into her. I won every single contest badge with her & maxed out all of her contest stats. But this is GameFreak so I most likely wasted my time with her. :/
Having one person use the Gamepad when you play the game with 2 players at home is actually making more sense now.
