Marza Animation has been busy developing a CGI Resident Evil movie that’s due to be released next year. The movie, which is entirely CGI, will be titled Resident Evil: Vendetta and is a full-length feature film. Resident Evil protagonist Leon Kennedy will star as the main character in the new movie and will ride Ducati’s newest motorbike, the XDiavel. Here’s the masterminds behind the film.
- Executive Producer: Takashi Shimizu
- Director: Takanori Tsujimoto
- Writer: Makoto Fukami
- Music: Kenji Kawai
- Executive Supervisor: Hiroyuki Kobayashi (Capcom)
- Production Co: Marza Animation Planet

-||Good but it’s so pathetic how low Resident Evil has fallen, first they abandon horror elements and now they are becoming advertisements for products||-

Same can be said for Devil May Cry. Why did they fuck up so badly with 4 and the Ninja Theory reboot?

I can’t help but feel they’ve made Leon look like Daryl from The Walking Dead here….

I’m glad they chose Leon Kennedy as the main character. Since he’s the only Resident Evil character I care about.

Best yet is that he’s voiced by the awesome Matthew Mercer. Now that I know he’s Leon’s voice, I might actually play RE games.

So is this a sequel to the other Resident Evil CGI films with Leon Kennedy?

The first once was meh. The second one was actually decent. Ah, what the heck. Let me now when it’s out.

I’m actually excited for this. Going with Leon was a good choice IMO…. Now if they could just make a true Resident Evil 4 sequel…..(5 and 6 don’t count..lol)

I classify the Revelation games as perfect sequels to Resident Evil 4 as they are perfect combinations of Resident Evil 4’s gameplay & the classic gameplay of the original games for PS1. The downside, they are prequels to Resident Evil 5 & 6 respectively.

Revelations was really good. I remember playing it on my 3ds for the first time. It was a very immersive experience and it did remind me of RE 4. Very few game this generation gave me that feeling… here I’ll name them since I’m bored…
Bloodbourne
Resident Evil Revelations
Dark Souls 2
Pikmin 3 (the rainy days made me very nostalgic for some reason)
Xenoblade to a certain degree…
Destiny
I’m not saying these are the only games I liked, just the only ones that gave me a deep sense of immersion like RE4 and other past games.. Soon I will be able to add Doom and Dark Souls 3 to that list I hope.

And Zelda U for that matter! Skyward Sword would be on that list but I do not consider that game this generation.

Oooh! I can’t wait for this! I love how the CGI movies are part of the games’ canon! To go along with my digital Resident Evil collection (Resident Evil 0, 1, & Revelations 2) on my PS4, I’m strongly thinking about buying the digital versions of the CGI movies on my PS4 itself.
