Developer n-Space Is Closing

Sadly developer n-Space has announced today via Twitter that it is closing its doors after twenty one years in the business. The company had previously worked on a few games for Nintendo platforms including Geist and multiple Call of Duty games. As you would expect there has been a number of layoffs because of this decision, so our thoughts go out with the former developers and their families.

Thanks, MasterPikachu6

  1. This is unexpected, but not surprising. The team worked on so many crappy games.

Anyways, its always sad to hear that a studio’s closing down so I hope the guys (and gals) layed off bounce back and find new jobs.

  2. I guess that’s what happens when the majority of their games are movie tie-ins or handheld ports, and it’s obvious that there’s not much of a market for that anymore. The only decent thing on there is probably Heroes of Ruin.

I was talking about the blue man powerish dude thing. But if this is work I gladly applaud your services. Now go make me more fucking sandwiches to play with😎.

  3. Wow. That is sad to hear. I absolutely loved the Call of Duty games they made for the Nintendo DS. They were very well made, and their multiplayers were very much enjoyed by me and my brothers, and the pretty decent online community that it had I was hoping that they would have made some for the 3DS.

  4. Wait! Who owns the rights to Geist!? I loved that fucking game! It got pretty fucking hard at times but I loved every single minute of it! Even hoped for a sequel some day. Eternal Darkness & Geist both deserve sequels as both were two of the best games on the GCN I played among such others as the first Baten Kaitos & the prequel to a degree. Hell! I’ll even take remasters!
