There’s A $4999 24-Karat Gold NES

Have plenty of disposal income to spend? Well you could invest your money in this extremely limited edition Nintendo Entertainment System. The $4999 24k gold-plated Analogue Nt is limited to a supply run of 10 to celebrate The Legend of Zelda’s 30th anniversary. As you are probably already aware the original Legend of Zelda for the NES shipped on a gold coloured cartridge and comes with the system. The $4999 system comes with a limited edition box, RGB or HDMI upgrades and a full cable set or HDMI cable. If you are lucky enough to have the cash you can pre-order one direct from the manufacturers website.

“Every unit sports a transparent baseplate, so you can see exactly how beautiful your Analogue Nt is inside,”

      1. And yet it surely is a good quality console comparing to all the crappy clones like Retron-5 (who is capable to simply emulating games instead to read the cartbridge…*slow claps*) The Analogue NT (the original model not the gold plated one) is made with high quality materials and have the original NES motherboard who is modified to be capable to correctly playing games at 1080p resolution. I will buy one surely this year.
