Nintendo Japan has announced today that the special edition Super Famicom Edition New Nintendo 3DS XL console is available for pre-order. The Super Famicom Edition New 3DS XL hardware, theme download code, a stylus, a 4GB micro SDHC memory card, AR cards, easy start guide, user manual, and warranty certificate.

It looks really nice👌
Even though I’m burned out with all things 3DS, if they release a Super NES edition New 3DS XL in North America, that just might be the bait they need to reel in this collector fish.
I still have not bought a “NEW” 3DS because I’m convinced it was at the end of its gen life cycle. I was so surprised to hear Nintendo say it’s still got tons of life left in it.
My regular 3DS is starting to feel more retro especially with all those retro games on it. But I love it. It’s one of the best if not the best handheld they’ve made to date. It’s up there with the original GameBoy/color for me.
ha this is awesome
OK. Hands-down. That is one of the best things I’ve ever seen. If it automatically came bundled with super Mario world and the first launch games I’d buy that instantly
I live in America but I want this so bad… i’d even like a Super NES version…
And yes, even with NX possibly coming this year if something like this came out in NA i’d be forced to buy it.
I already have the Majora’s Mask edition but if a US SNES version came out here I’d be quite tempted lol
It is uber sexy…
Hell, even the box is sexy….
Come to Australia and I’ll finally buy a New 3DS.
