    1. The problem is, like Tri-force Heros, this game is focused on multiplayer. From what I understand it’s not possible to run through missions solo. You have to have three other people with you, whether the AI controls them or actual people. I personally do not care for these forced multiplayer games. All of my friends are married with kids and do not play video games. I’m alone in my hobby and I can’t say I enjoy playing with strangers on the Internet. Single player games or bust, as far as I’m concerned… You know, unless it’s done good like Destiny was.

  1. You know, I give a pass on the artstyle… but, like, the game itself just looks too generic. Blast Ball looks fine and all, but Federation Force is the most generic Halo game I’ve ever seen.

  2. Geezuz. Do I need to be the first to say it? Chibi-Metroid Shit-Force looks like shit. Die, Nintendo. You ruined my childhood.

                  1. You know, I never really bothered to speak up about you and your fellow fancy long-named cohorts, but now I think it’s about time I did.

Who the hell are you trying to impress, or are you just trying to be in character, or something? You have these unconventional characters in your long ass name, and even have them in your posts. On top of acting like you’re some sort of sentient machine.

It’s almost like you’re doing this simply for the sake of drawing attention to yourself and getting people to respond to you (which I fell for simply for the sake of speaking up) all the while thinking you’re all clever for it?

Really don’t understand what your whole deal is, and even if you responded to me with an answer you seem so drawn into your own persona you probably couldn’t give me anything resembling a simple answer that doesn’t contain your usual theatrics.

                    1. Usual theatrics? You make the entity sound like Owain from Fire Emblem Awakening, which is a pretty big disservice.

He’s always been like this, long since before any of you lot were born!

  3. Yea, I appreciate the developer coming out and defending his game in that last direct. But I still feel nothing for this game. Metroid is supposed to be a single player focused adventure. This game is forced multiplayer. It looks extremely generic, and even the music sounds generic. I have no problem with the game being called Metroid, like some fanboys do. But honestly the game just looks like a bad multiplayer, slow moving, no action, third person shooter. I mean look at the enemies for christs sake. How generic can you get? And the first boss of the game is a generator. Yes, a generator. Epic fail IMO.

    1. A game’s launch period is usually its first two months, so that’s the window.

The game MUST not exceed 25,000 units in that time frame; in my perfect world, it would not pass 100, but this is not my world, so compromises must be made.

        1. Perhaps if someone from USA speak in japanesse to Nintendo of Japan that the people of USA prefer the realistic look of Metroid Prime Trilogy, they may understand that the art style is what the people of this region did not like.

          1. Nintendo First Order Commander Quadraxis

            ||They know about it, sometimes High Command does what it pleases, however the sales and lack of income from this latest one will surely make them think twice for the next one…||

        2. And of course, the irrelevant bubble head that make the federation troopers looks like a total cartoon kids. I will have prefered an anime art style widch may have been accetable.

  4. Aaaand the site is just as underwhelming as the game itself and what we’ve seen of it.

It seems the only thing Ninty cares about as far as this game goes is why we should play it instead of the quality of the game itself.

  5. I hope Nintendo wastes tons of money trying to make this travesty sell only for it to be a bigger flop than Xbone in Japan. Sadly, like idiots, they’d assume the worst reason imaginable of why the game didn’t sell: “I guess they just don’t care about Metroid. Like Chibi-Robo, let’s just kill it off instead of trying to make a true representation of the franchise to make sure the latest game didn’t sell not because they lost interest in the franchise or don’t care anymore but maybe because we fucked up with the artstyle or gameplay mechanics. No. That’s not right! We’re fucking Nintendo! Our fans don’t know what the hell they want! We know what they want & it clearly isn’t Metroid!” <.<
