The NPD Group, which tracks video game sales in North America, has revealed the top ten best-selling video games for the month of March. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD did well as it entered the charts at number three, beaten by the likes of The Division and Far Cry Primal and Pokken Tournament entered at number seven. The PlayStation 4 was the best-selling platform this month though Nintendo hasn’t given any indication how well the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U performed. Here’s the best-selling games for March.

- MLB 16: The Show (PS4, PS3)
- Pokken Tournament (Wii U)
- NBA 2K16 (PS4, Xbox One, 360, PSe)
- Call of Duty: Black Ops III (Xbox One, PS4, 360, PS3, PC)
- Minecraft (360, PS4, Xbox One, PS3)
- Tom Clancy’s The Division had the best launch month for any Tom Clancy title to-date, having sold 40 percent more than the next best-selling Tom Clancy title, March 2008’s Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 when adjusted for number of days sold within the month,” said Callahan.
- “Stemming from strong launches of Tom Clancy’s The Division and Far Cry: Primal, Ubisoft is the number one software publisher for Q1 2016, with a unit sales increase of close to 130 percent, and a dollar sales increase of over 200 percent.”
- For Portable software, unit sales and revenue were down 19 percent and 16 percent, respectively, in March 2016 compared to last year.”
- The PS4 was the #1 platform for software sales.
- Zelda was No. 3 by SKU. Pokken Tournament was No. 4 by SKU.

I’m glad that Nintendo’s finally beating a three year old game in sales (GTAV).
Not even Zelda Wii U will beat GTA V. It’s just unstoppable. Other games come up and then drop out the list later. But GTA V says “Nah. I’m staying here.”

Nah, in fact, you deserve one. I’m glad you’re able to experience the game as it’s one of my favorites. Although, I will warn you about online. It’s best played with friends. Otherwise, prepare to endlessly grind in missions for weeks straight because everything is expensive and prepare to get shot up at every corner by greifers with much better guns and vehicles than you. I’m level 55 and still can’t deal with them properly. Lmao.
