XSEED has today confirmed what we pretty much already knew and that Corpse Party is destined for the Nintendo 3DS. The intriguing game launches this summer for $29.99 digitally or alternatively you can get a $49.99 limited “Back to School Edition” physical release. If you decide to opt for the physical release then you can get Naomi Nakashima and Seiko Shinohara figurines as well as a soundtrack CD. Check out a video, below!
Remastered from the 2011 PSP game, the Nintendo 3DS rendition of Corpse Party will feature redrawn, high-resolution character sprites, newly arranged music tracks, and 3D art stills, as well as four new Extra Chapters exclusive to this version that provide insight into lesser-shown characters and plot elements previously left unexplained. This title has been rated “M for Mature” by the ESRB.
Its just the first game then? Why not port all 3?
They will probably consider it based on sales vs cost.
That would have been awesome! I would’ve bought that Day One. The first game was pretty good and that limited edition set is tempting.
First company I’ve seen on the Nintendo e-shop with a cheaper digital edition in comparison to the physical special edition.
Mega Man Legacy Edition was cheaper on the eshop too. I’m surprised Corpse Party didn’t jump on the amiibo train with those figures…
