The Smashified group is at it again with taking fan favorite characters and rendering them into a Super Smash Bros. For 3DS/Wii U style. This time, Masked Man from Mother 3 has been given the Smash treatment. The video features a time-lapse painting of the character with commentary that features Chuggaaconroy. Now THIS is the kind of moding I want to see. This should be an alt outfit for Lucas already, on top of the Claus one. Nice birthday present for Mother 3 too, my favorite JRPG of all time!
This would’ve been an amazing character to include in the game in any way (especially playable) but I understand skipping him altogether to allow people who haven’t played the game yet a chance to be surprised by the reveal.
Now if only they’d release the game again outside of Japan…

Just imagine Smash Bros. actually having a character creation mode like this built into the game. If I became any good at it, this is probably the only thing I’d ever spend my time doing in Smash Bros. But sadly, I think I’m too stupid to EVER know how to do stuff like this.
