While it is unlikely that the next Call of Duty game will come to the Wii U the possibility that it will come to the NX seems likely. Jim Sterling has revealed via Twitter that the game will be showcased to the general public on Tuesday, May 3rd. The rumours swirling regarding the title is that it is once again set in a futuristic setting. We shall apparently find out for sure on Tuesday if the listing is correct.

Call of Duty is the only good thing to come out of Activision. They’ve treated both Crash and Spyro like shit, the latter is just a supporting character that you can buy for every Skylanders game.
How am I supposed to reply to this? I know it’s not a problem for Activision, but it’s a problem for the consumers.
But they keep consuming it, so it’s not really a problem for them either.
It’s a problem for the people who don’t buy the game. It’s not like the franchise has an attach rate of 80%, there are more people not buying it than buying it. The problem for that sector comes when other studios try to capitalize on the franchise’s success, killing catalog diversity in the process. Thankfully, it’s not as horrible as it was last gen, but it’s still there.
I’m sure you’ve read the sentence “we want the Call of Duty audience” before. It’s more than something people say to ridicule studios and games they don’t like.
I don’t know, all those game are just like a glorified goldeneye in my eyes. The only thing I enjoyed about BO3 was that Stabler from SVU and Jeff Goldblum were in the game lol

I’m sure the attach rate is pretty big. If there are so many people that aren’t buying it, I don’t see why it’s able to make millions every year. I can’t say for sure how many new people they bring in with each game, but I’m willing to bet a lot of those sales come from people that played the previous games.
I’m positive it’s lower than 50%. I’d be surprised if it’s above 30%.

Just as along as that game is better than Call of Duty Ghosts. That shit was a disappointment and Black Ops 3 only rekindled my faith in Activision.
Play Wii U ghosts every night. 5 levels, local 2 vs 11 (one on gamepad and one on TV). Another would be great, but only with the dual screens. Split screen can eat it

On a side note, is this really newsworthy? A new CoD game each year has become a given. It’s kind of like reporting that EA is rumored to reveal a new NHL game.
The COD games have come to Nintendo systems at least at the start of its lifetime so it coming to the NX is a given.
