As I’m sure you’re already aware by now, The Legend of Zelda Wii U has been delayed and is now coming to both the Wii U and the forthcoming Nintendo NX platform. The Nintendo of America press site previously had the game listed with a March 2017 release date, but they have changed it yet again to simply 2017. The Legend of Zelda Wii U will be the only playable Nintendo game at this year’s E3 event as it’s the game Nintendo wants consumers to focus on.

Think about it, All Sony does is copy Nintendo yet just makes it more powerful. Sony has no clue what the NX is. Thats why they made a PS4 5. PS1 never had a facelift, PS2 never had a facelift, PS3 never had a facelift. Now all of a sudden a new Nintendo console arrives in the middle of a generation because Wii U flopped and all of a sudden a more powerful PS4 is arriving. Why is that? This isnt nintendo being stupid m like they used to be, this is Nintendo learning from their lesson. A quiet console is a safe console until closer to production.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge Nintendo fan. I’ve owned all of their consoles and most of their handhelds. But seeing what they have become these past few years is pitiful. They have no major titles for the rest of the year, and with its last big title coming to Wii U, gamers have even less incentive to buy or continue to support the system. Their pushing back the NX release to March, so Nintendo fans have almoat nothing to look forward to this year. And to make matters worse, they replace the already sub-par Club Nintendo with something much worse. It’s ironic that Nintendo’s current gen home console turns out to be its worst, while their current handheld console turns out to be one of their best.

I would send them an email, but Nintendo’s never been one to listen to their fans. They themselves have said that they do what they think is good and the fans will come. What I say here are comments based on the respective article. Zelda being delayed for a combined total of around 2 years? Relying on ONE game at E3, with no new information on their next console? NX not arriving until next year in March, leaving them with almost nothing until then? Now all of that coupled with all of their current shortcomings with Wii U such as online infrastructure, storage capacity, downloadable content being locked to hardware, and being far less powerful than their competitor’s consoles. It’s hard to take seriously a company that keeps making mistakes like this, and that is why I say they’re becoming a joke. They deserve all of the criticism that they are receiving, Sony and Microsoft get criticized for their mistakes and they fix them. The Wii had the same problem with its hardware limitations, but their solution that was amazing titles to compensate for their shortcomings. Oh, and I don’t recall ever being banned. The question is is it delayed because of the game or is it delayed to make it tough for competition to copy like they did Wii and Wii U unveiling too early before release? After all only reason why Sony enforced the Vita to be a controller for PS3 &PS4 was because of the Gamepad. They worked on it in R&D while Project Cafe was in R&D. Then by the time Wii U launched the Gamepad wasnt an exclusive as it should had been because they revealed it early enough for competition to adjust to what Project Cafe was.

Some people are just mad because they wanted the Zelda game and NX to be unveiled at E3 so Sony can adjust to the new information they can get for the PS4.5K and make adjustments. Nintendo isnt holding Sony’s hand anymore so they can copy them and just make it more power. The purpose of the PS4.5 was to estimate the NX. And with the NX at no show at E3,it fucked up Sony’s traditional strategy …..copying Nintendo in R&D. Sony is running worried now. Nintendo is using the “waiting for games” to give a reason why Zelda and NX isnt coming out this year. Nintendo knows they have enough tittles completed by then. But you never tell the real information to allow competition to know. Tha is why they revealing it at a later year…..competition won’t have time to adjust to NX in R&D.

Delays are necessary when it comes to a big competitor like Microsoft and Sony. Would yall want PS4.k to have features NX has because lack of delays or would yall want the NX to stay unique? Thats why NX aint coming to E3. That would give Sony 5 months to add new features in R&D for the PS4.5. But if NX was unveiled at a later month like August or September but Sony plans on releasing the PS4k in November it would be difficult for Sony to make changes in such short time. Nintendi has to do what they got to do to not make the same mistake they did with Wii U. Let them do what they got to do.

unless I totally miss it but why not releasing zelda for December 2016 and have it as a launch title for the NX in March or even May 2017?
If they are really serious about the NX launch 5 months later at best won’t kill that much the sales performance of Zelda. If the game on the wii U is a good one there is nothing to fear. Twilight princess even sell very well in UK despite being an HD remix and having both release will in fact damage the sell of the NX more than anything else if you ask. And it’s not like 80% of the wii U owner will buy the game on day one anyway.
Stating March as a launch date is good for Japanese market so I expect the NX will be first introduce in Japan in March 2017 then by then when the E3 come they will be a lot of talk between Nintendo and the different studio as well as being ready for the launch of this console in America (June) and Europe.(September)
They never mentioned when in 2017 it’d release anyways. It was probably going to be announced at E3 it would launch in March 2017 alongside NX but someone let it slip.
This just shows they aren’t confident they can release it in March 2017. :/ So they change the release date to simply 2017 to cover their asses.
