The Retail Version Of Minecraft: Wii U Edition Arrives In Japan On June 23

Nintendo has announced when consumers in Japan will be able to get their hands on the retail version of Minecraft: Wii U Edition. The Wii U rendition of Mojang‘s popular sandbox game is set to make its Japanese debut on June 23 for 3,888 yen. It includes the Wii U-exclusive Super Mario Mash Up Pack, which is available now as a free update to players who own the digital version of the title. Minecraft: Wii U Edition is still on track to launch in U.S. stores on June 17.

    1. That’s why I’m getting it now. June 17th can’t get here soon enough.

      It also opens the way for more Nintendo skin packs like Zelda, Metroid, and Splatoon; I won’t even mind having to pay an extra 2 bucks for those.
