Capcom has confirmed today that the charming looking Monster Hunter Stories for the Nintendo 3DS will be launching on October 8th in Japan. That’s not all, as the game will be accompanied by three new amiibo that allow you to obtain special Otomon (monsters) in-game. Capcom says that the amiibo are “One-Eyed Rathalos and Rider (Female)” and “One-Eyed Rathalos and Rider (Male) and “Jabiru”. More amiibo will be released this winter.

Will this game and amiibo be coming to North America as well?
I really like those Rathalos and Kid Amiibos … but the odd toony/jr.manga style Felyne is unfortunate. I’d buy the heck out of a standard Monster Hunter style Felyne Amiibo, like an Ace from 4 or a Nyanta form from X/Generations. Those are at least Adoribawesome.
