A batch of Persona 6 concept art, which a SEGA Atlus insider has confirmed are legitimate, have leaked online ahead of the Summer Game Fest. The game’s main protagonist is the boy with the blonde bowl haircut. A previous leak said that the game features a dual protagonist, but leaker lolilolailo says that there’s just one with the girl featured in the concept art being a side character. Persona 6 seemingly takes place in Yokohama and its release date is apparently penciled in for September 2027.
It looks bad like devilman crybaby meets wind breaker. Did the old artist leavw and is no exclusive to Metaphor? I guess new artist.

I would hardly call the design bad or meh. It’s not worse than Yu being so bland-looking or even Makoto back in the day. People have the wrong impression because of Joker but his civilian design isn’t exactly groundbreaking, either.
It’s mostly a matter of seeing it in action and getting to know the characters.
Joker’s civilian design was SUPPOSED to look unassuming, to highlight the difference to his Phantom Thief look.
Yet somehow this ugly fuck looks even MORE bland than the protagonist who was literally designed to be so!

Every Persona protagonist except maybe P3 feMC is bland in their civilian forms, that’s kinda the point. Basic characters we can self-insert into. He’ll probably look wild in his transolformed state, and Persona fans will probably love him like all the other protags. No need to judge so harshly based on a super limited leak.

Literally no one here has said the game is going to be garbage because of this, only that it’s disappointing and a poor first impression, which it is.
And the leak has been backed up by multiple reputable sources at this point, so the likelihood of it being fake is extremely slim.
