The Entertainment Ratings Software Board has taken a good close look at Metroid Prime Federation Force on the Nintendo 3DS and has slapped it with a teen rating. If you’re interested you can read the company’s description of the game and how they came about their decision, below.
This is a first-person shooter in which players control Federation Space Marines as they complete objectives and battle enemy forces in a fictional galaxy. Players control specialized battle “mechs” as they explore planets to recover materials/personnel, and engage in combat with aggressive alien creatures. Players use blaster-like weapons and missiles to kill various enemies (e.g., ice titans, giant insects, space pirates, droids) in frenetic battle. Creatures disintegrate in a black particle effect when defeated. Battles are highlighted by gunfire, explosions, and cries of pain.

EDGY.
Very Edgy, Indeed. lol
Let’s see what it’s got when it’s released. This is a chance to bring back the Metroid series after all so.
