Liam Robertson has produced a new video, this time looking at the N64 title Perfect Dark‘s lost sequels.
Perfect Dark is a first person shooter title, developed by Rare and published by Nintendo. The title was released in North America in May 2000, shortly followed by a separate Game Boy Colour release that allowed players to unlock certain features via a Transfer Pak. In 2005 Perfect Dark Zero was released as a launch title for the Xbox 360 after Rare was acquired by Microsoft.
Here’s the clip below, that takes a look at the game’s unreleased double episode sequels, including an insight into what they were set to entail:
My favourite FPS shooter to date honestly, haven’t met a modern shooter that can step up to the original Nintendo 64 masterpiece.
i would love it if perfect dark came out for the wiiu, that would be awesome.
It seemed like such a depressing time for RARE employees after they were acquired. :(
that core game sounded awesom, the story was the best part.. oh well though.
I would’ve bought multiple copies, 1 for myself and some for friends who are cheap to give PD a try
