It looks like there’s a major glitch in Splatoon that enables players to become invisible. The glitch in question apparently found its way to the Wii U shooter via its latest update earlier this week. You can check out how it appears during gameplay in the video below. Nintendo is aware of this issue and is probably working on getting a fix out as soon as possible. The publisher recently confirmed that Splatoon will be undergoing scheduled maintenance next week.
