Pokémon fever has swept the nation following the release of Pokémon GO, and it looks like MMA fighters are no exception.
At Bellator, MMA fighter Michael Page, who also sported a Poké Ball cap, knocked out his opponent and then proceeded to throw a Poké Ball at him during round 2 of their fight. Check out the screen captures below:

It’s like the Gen1/Gen2 days all over again, Pokemon is EVERYWHERE.
I hope they add local battles with friends and trading, or it will be hard to keep people playing Pokemon on the east coast. I don’t think that many people are going to be walking in the cold for pokemon. I see people doing it, but not like now.
That’s not the way the founding game works (Ingress). You can fight your friends at the local gym, and be indoors at some of those gyms.
That’s to get people out of the house. I like that idea. That idea, however, isn’t going to be a reality for many when it gets cold. They might have to change it up soon. A
