Racing Apex Is Planned For Wii U

Fans of racing titles will be happy to know that indie studio Lucky Mountain Games is planning to bring Racing Apex to Wii U. The arcade-style game draws inspiration from some of the first 3D polygon arcade racing games from 1988 to 1992. It adds modern gameplay elements such as car combat and multiplayer action. There are 30 vehicles that players can choose from, in addition to a range of racers, modes, tracks and items.

  1. I was interested until i noticed the combat… i don’t care for racing games with combat, i prefer arcade style races like Daytona USA.

  2. When you’ve just watched the Money for Nothing music video and want to play a video game, this will be waiting for you on the eShop.

    1. I believe the purpose is to cause damage to your opponents car. It looks like there are 3 levels of damage the cars take, with the final level resulting in your car blowing up. Seems pretty purposeful to me…
