Yep, there is now a dating site for Pokemon GO. It is called PokeDates, and it promises to match you with fellow players of the phenomenally popular game to “meet your Ash or Misty”. What you do is that you answer some questions about yourself and your Pokemon preferences, and the site will match you with a fellow player. You’ll then be sent to a gym or pokestop to meet with them. Whether you win your date’s heart is entirely up to you. The first PokeDate is free, but each date that will follow will cost $20 (about £15 or AU$25). The site is a spin-off from Project Fixup. Project Fixup is a USA-exclusive dating service that organises dates for you. The twist is that people, rather than algorithms, are employed to match you up. I’ve tried many dating sites, and I hate them all. Still never dated anyone. They all seem to be catered towards experienced daters. They need to make one that’s catered towards people who has never dated before. And make it 100% FREE. I’m sick of the sites that claim to be completely free, yet they’re only free to register. And I don’t even take this Pokedates seriously.
