Japan: Nintendo Has Announced Miitopia for 3DS

Today’s Nintendo Direct had one final announcement, but that announcement was only exclusive to Japan. The Japanese Nintendo Direct ended with the announcement of a game called Miitopia. The game will release in Japan later this year on the Nintendo 3DS. Other than the announcement, we just have the logo. Nintendo didn’t reveal any details. That will likely change as time progresses, so stay tuned.

  1. Wasn’t there supposed to be 6 mobile games (not counting the pokemon games) released on android and iphone by the end of 2016? Has that plan been ditched?

    1. I think that’s partially correct. I believe that they mentioned that it would be 5 games by the end of the fiscal year (March 2017). So we are running out of time since only one is released and 2 are announced :/

  2. All I can make out of this logo is that Nintendo is making a Mii RPG, sorta like the old StreetPass game.
A more farfetched theory of mine is that they would make some kind of MMORPG following their free-to-start thing.

  3. thank goodness and i fail too see what those illuninati idiots have to do with a choice by Nintendo?
