Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing Mobile Apps Are Now Arriving Before The End of March 2017

The two franchises announced to be coming to mobile this fall, Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem, have now been confirmed to be arriving “before the end of March, 2017” in Nintendo’s recent Press Release.

This appears to be related to today’s announcement of the Super Mario Run game that will be released on the iPhone and iPad in December.

“After the launch of Super Mario Run in December, Nintendo plans to deliver its previously announced mobile device titles in the Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem series before the end of March, 2017.”

It looks like we will be waiting a little while longer to find out what these two new apps will entail.

    1. I believe that they did say some mobile games will be compatible with their hardware. I definitely know that the mobile version of Animal Crossing was announced to have ties with New Leaf, so it’s not completely out of the blue to have NX games work on their mobile games as well.

  1. Finally some info, I hope they keep up with it. I’m really curious about how that FE mobile game is going to be implemented.

  2. It was always supposed to come before March 2017. Nintendo has stated 5 mobile games/apps before end of the fiscal year which end March 2017. Miitomo, Super Mario Run, Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, and one unannounced mobile game/app.

    1. And we all know Nintendo pushes to the very, very, very end of their windows. (Seriously) So right you are!

  3. Darn, I’ve wanted to play these two so badly. But I guess Mr. Mario should have his spotlight first since he’s more popular and profitable to the public than these two franchises.

  4. not animal crossing and fire emblem those mobile fag dont deserve such master pieces get an “ACTUAL CONSOLE” not play them on a fucking phone you retards!

      1. I pretty much said Not Fire Emblem and Animal crossing ! If people want to play it they buy the console it was meant to be on not a fucking phone those games arent mobile phone games and phones are not a console! As much as some people think they are.

  5. I am so curious to see what the Animal Crossing App is. I think the potential with that series is huge. I think that it really needs to be launched alongside a full new AC title though. I hope it’s compatibility isn’t limited to just New Leaf.

    1. I doubt it would be limited to New Leaf. Nintendo seemed to indicate it would interact with an upcoming AC, presumably on NX since Wii U hasn’t had an actual AC game, and we’re about due

  6. I hope the rumor that these phone games will get NX ports works out to be true. I simply have zero cares about playing games on my phone (its why I own a 3DS and Vita!), but I’d want to play them
