Niantic announced at the Apple conference that Pokémon GO has gotten 500,000,000 downloads since the game was released two months ago. There are still countries that don’t even have the game yet, so it’s likely that this number will continue to grow in the future. As we’ve previously covered, the game is coming to the Apple Watch, so this will increase downloads too.

well this game is getting popular but i think other companies will be making there own mobile games :/
What about Sun and Moon.. the sales are going to be abysmal. :-(
