A listing on a Chinese resale site has revealed a new LCD panel for the Nintendo Switch 2 which is most likely being produced by Sharp. Nintendo Patents Watch believes it to be a completely updated design, so not just a minor refresh. It could be an improvement over the original Nintendo Switch LCD panel, which Digital Foundry had gripes with in their launch review, but we will have to wait and see on that one. The new LCD panel may also tie into the revamped Nintendo Switch 2 model which will have a replaceable battery as per EU guidelines.

That would be nice. The switch 2 display can get blurry at times when I play silksong at 120fps.
Most people don’t see the issues the Switch 2 screen has, so it shouldn’t be a big deal if they add an improved one. I’m personally waiting on a model refresh before I get a Switch 2 because I regretted buying the model 1 Switch in 2017
