So today Nintendo finally unveiled what was previously known as the Nintendo NX as the Nintendo Switch. The handheld console hybrid is due to be released in March 2017 and pricing has yet to be announced. However, Amazon has the system listed and you can sign up for notifications once the product is available for pre-order.

What steve said. They did the same with a game I preordered awhile back with a release date of December 2016 for which they changed to the actual release date after it was revealed to be the exact date.

The Nintendo side in me is stirring & wanting me to do the same but I’m still waiting on confirmation of a universal account system & none of that console locked bullshit of Wii & Wii U.

Judging by the collective reactions of people though, Nintendo is probably going to need to make A LOT of these for launch week, and then some, because this is going to sell.

Although I’m still hesitant to buy, I’ll at least sign up for the notifications part. Please reveal this thing has a universal account system with no console locked bullshit, Nintendo! Preferably BEFORE the damn thing is up for preorder! Otherwise, if I do decide to get this thing day 1, I won’t be able to because all of the stock will be gone because it’s all going to preorders and because they stopped taking preorders!
