There was a grand midnight launch for the Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System at the Nintendo NY Store last night. Amongst the festivities, Twitter user John Ricciardi spotted what would appear to be a prototype Nintendo Entertainment System on display along with an unusual prototype controller.

}{ Interesting, seeing a piece of gaming history right here… }{
That controller is strange. I want one.
Since this place only had 250, I surmise every other store had 90% less stock so 25 per store. Yep. No wonder the thing sold out so quickly today.
