He may be no longer with us, but that doesn’t mean people have forgotten about him. In fact, today is the day that the late Satoru Iwata would’ve celebrated his birthday, turning 57 years old. Iwata is known for having worked on Balloon Fight, NES Open Tournament Golf, EarthBound, and the Kirby games. He assisted with development for Pokemon Gold/Silver along with Pokemon Stadium. Iwata also assisted Sakurai with Super Smash Bros. on the Nintendo 64. Iwata later became President and CEO of Nintendo, and helped give birth to the Nintendo Direct broadcasts. Iwata passed away on July 11th, 2015 of complications from a bile duct tumor.

iT’S SO TERRIBLE. I’m not against this site making money off ads but the videos that autoplay are ridiculous. A couple weeks ago it kept auto scrolling up to the video auto playing every time I tried to scroll down to read the comments.
I’ve turned the crap off several time’s in my settings. Shit still loads that I have absolutely no interest in.

I haven’t seen an ad on here for quite some time. I guess the ad blocker on Firefox is finally working right. But before the ad blocker did start working properly, the autoplay video ads would utterly freeze up the computer I’m on, forcing me to close out & reopen the damn tab til that video ad was replaced with a static or gif ad.
