Popular online gaming publication GameSpot have been deliberating over the best Nintendo 3DS games of the year and the results are now in. To be fair it is a pretty good list and just goes to show that we have had some fantastic games this year on the platform. What do you think of GameSpot’s choices for the best Nintendo 3DS games of 2016?
- Fire Emblem Fates
- Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse
- Pokemon Sun and Moon
- Kirby: Planet Robobot
- Rhythm Heaven Megamix

All these games were incredible. Especially Fire Emblem and Rhythm Heaven. If you don’t own them and have a 3DS, buy them immediately and block out some time to play!
I’ve been playing SMT IV: Apocalypse and have been absolutely addicted to it. I play games about an hour or 2 at a time. Couple days and I’m at 13 hours. Which is most of my free time.
Bravely Second, SMT IV: Apocalypse, Monster Hunter Generations, Fire Emblem Fates, 7th Dragon Code III, Pokemon Sun & Moon, Dragon Quest VII, Kirby Planet Robobot, Project X Zone 2, Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, Hyrule Warriors Legends, Mario & Luigi Paper Jam Bros, Super Mario Maker
Pretty Good Year for me :)
I loved Fire Emblem Fates and right now SMTIV: Apocalypse is draining a lot of time for me. :)
I’m hoping to get Pokemon and Kirby for Christmas.
I’d try Rhythm Heaven Megamix (and Picross 3D) if I could buy physical copies *or* if they ever went on sale. Too pricey for digital-only games
