Japan: Here’s This Week’s Charts

This week’s charts are now in from Japan and it’s been a bumper week due to the launch of the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo’s latest console sold 329,152 units and predictably The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild shot to number one. The Wii U version of the game entered the charts at number four. It will be interesting to see the console sales figures next week once the launch period is over.

  1. I’ll take a guess, and predict Switch Sales will be less than half that next week.
    So, less than 150,000. This is a totally blind guess.

      1. You’re being very generous. I definitely overshot. Either stock is way lower than I thought (I assumed Nintendo would keep up since they said they would) or more people got one that wanted one the first week. In any case. I suspect next week to be around 50K! ;D
