Pokémon GO is celebrating a legendary 1st anniversary. Requested since Niantic first launched the game, legendary Pokémon are finally being added to the app. They’ll be available via events called Legendary Raids. Pokémon like Lugia and Zapdos will appear in Gyms and if Trainers and their team defeat them, they’ll have the opportunity to catch it for themselves. This is something fans have been demanding, so it’s great to see Niantic finally implementing it.
