UK Charts: Splatoon 2 Enters Chart At Number Two

It’s Monday which means it is time to find out how the various software releases performed in the United Kingdom. The big new entry this week for the Nintendo Switch was the super-fun Splatoon 2 which entered the charts at number two. It couldn’t quite dethrone Crash Bandicoot from the top spot as the game is still proving to be a big hit with consumers. Here’s the best-sellers this week in the United Kingdom:

  1. Crash Bandicoot
  2. Splatoon 2
  3. GTA V
  4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  5. Overwatch
  6. Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  7. Final Fantasy XII
  8. FIFA 17
  9. Fallout 4
  10. LEGO Worlds

  1. Well it IS very good, better than the first as expected.

    I just hope more maps get added more frequently and that we get a good mix of new and returning stages (I’m personally hoping Flounder Heights, Urchin Underpass, and Ancho-V Games come back). The new maps don’t feel as “fresh” as the maps from the original.

    1. I’m really hoping for Arowana Mall to return. That was my second favorite map from the first game (right behind Moray Towers). The new Boat map they teased in the last direct looks pretty cool.

      1. Arowana was pretty good too. I didn’t really like Moray Towers in the first one but the remix it got in 2 makes me like this incarnation.

        If there are two maps I hope DON’T come back, it’s Bluefin Depot and Hammerhead Bridge- I never liked those.

  2. Ridley X3 {R.I.P. Chester Bennington of Linkin' Park. Thank you for the awesome music. You will be missed. *cries*}

    I predict GTA5 will be in the top 10 all freaking year. lol
