We know that Konami was teasing something for Super Bomberman R fans and today they’ve decided to let us all know what is coming. The game will soon have a new Grand Prix mode and new characters in the form of Rumble Roses (Reiko Hinomoto) and Zone of the Enders (Anubis, Jehuty). The previously mentioned Grand Prix mode will have 3 vs. 3 team battles. Fans in Japan will also be able to get their hands on the Super Bomberman R Original Soundtrack which goes on sale in December. It’s extremely encourgaing to see this amount of support for the game from Konami.

They need to make more like the ones for N64 (Second Attack and Hero). 2p co-op adventure and bomb-throwing, Louie-riding platforming was the best of the franchise.
Well hopefully the good sales of this game are enough to show there is interest in more Bomberman titles, and that we don’t have to wait another decade for one.
