1-2 Switch Has Been Updated For Video Capture

1-2 Switch has been updated today to allow users to take amusing 30 second video clips. The latest version of the party title is 1.1.0 and the game joins the likes of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, ARMS, Splatoon 2 and Super Mario Odyssey in supporting the new feature.

    1. Kalas X3, The Sonyendo King {Sony+Nintendo=Sonyendo!}

      This would make more sense if Switch had a camera accessory that records you & others playing the games. Hm. Makes me wonder if Sony does something like that with the PS4 since it’s got the PS Camera…

      1. Yes, it will be nice if Nintendo Switch lets you record up to 10 to 15 minutes. would that be great if Nintendo allow us to do that so we don’t have to spend 300$ on a capture card?.

  1. Would it will be better if Nintendo allow us to upload a 10 min video on YouTube with our switch and then we don’t have to spend alot of money to get a powerful capture card?. Would that be exciting for all of us for us Nintendo users?.

    1. That probably won’t be possible for technical reasons, as video capture requires a lot of RAM and at least a bit of processing power. Especially the RAM part is problematic on the Switch. That aside, people who need recordings that long are mostly people who do gameplay videos/speedruns/LPs on YouTube. You could argue that those people should and probably will get a capture card, anyways. For just sharing funny or cool gameplay moments on social media, I say 30 second are already quite nice.
