We’ve finally received word of a release date for Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition on the Nintendo Switch. The game will be coming on May 18th and features all the content from the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions of the game.

Very well
I’m still okay with the Wii U version. I don’t play it frequently enough to warrant buying it a second time, even if all the DLC is included this time.
Not just all of the DLC but it also has all of the 3DS content, too. The Switch version is basically a fusion of the Wii U & 3DS versions. This will be one of the few ports I won’t mind paying full price for to get on Switch.
Wait, it has the 3DS-exclusive maps and stuff?
…I take it back- I might need this version even if it means all the grinding to get my levels back. …All those hours poured into making Ghirahim a badass…
Don’t fully quote me on this, though, as I don’t know for sure as I’m sadly only assuming. I haven’t really bothered much with Nintendo beyond waiting for info on fucking paid online that I haven’t done any research.
I bet they pushed the paid online back this far so it can launch alongside Smash Switch, which, as long as it’s good (no random disconnects, stable with minimum lag), makes total sense.
Nice.
I wanna see how this version will handle multiplayer. Split screen most likely? Online would be amazing
The only port (so far) that I won’t hate paying full price for since it’s not just the Wii U content & DLC but the 3DS content & DLC, too.
