GameMaker Studio 2 has been announced for the Nintendo Switch enabling the ports of plenty of good 2D indie games. It was one of the last video game engines not to support the Nintendo Switch but thankfully that has now changed. GameMaker Studio 2 is incredibly popular with independent developers so this is clearly good news.
GameMaker Studio 2 Is Coming To Nintendo Switch

0_o I’m making a game maker studio 2 game! This is amazing!
I’m still wondering how Scirra got WiiU support but no Switch support
While Gamemaker got no WiiU support (to the best of my knowledge ) but got Switch support…
but it was a mess. Games did not run smoothly on wii u, some of them never made it. Maybe switch is different. On HTML5 side of things, I remember ImpactJS did run better on the Wii U.
Cool, now we can play AM2R on the Switch!
Oh shit. Really?! MAKE IT HAOOEN, CAPTAIN!

What Stranga above me asked.
