Yooka-Laylee recently celebrated its first birthday, so Playtonic published an official blog post to mark the occasion. There, Playtonic said that “we’ve been a bit quiet for a while. But we promise it’s because we’ve been far too busy working on covert goodness, and not because we’ve been down the pub for 4 months. Soon we’ll start talking more actively, both about extra content for Yooka-Laylee, plus… other stuff”. They did not say what, exactly, the extra content would be. When they do, we’ll let you know.

Hopefully it will have one or two DLC worlds. I hope they make a sequel in the future.
THIS is all I’m hoping for, but if Tooka-Laylee was ever to be a thing, it should not be released before 2020. YL was good, but signs of the devs having gotten rusty are EVERYWHERE
Hmm. Hopefully a sequel? The first game could have been a lot better than it was, it’d be a shame to let that potential go to waste. I didn’t even hate YL, but it was definitely disappointing overall for me.
