Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima has said in a recent interview with The Nikkei that upcoming Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa has spent the last two years helping map out Nintendo’s plan for the future. He has also revealed that Mr. Furukawa was chosen as he knows how to get the most out of Nintendo’s development teams.

“Kimishima says Furukawa was chosen as new president because he knows how to get the most out of development teams, and he apparently spent the last 2 years to map out Nintendo’s future.”
