UK Charts: Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze Remains Steady At Number Two

It is Monday which means it is time to see how the various software releases have performed in the United Kingdom. It has been a slow week for new releases but there are some huge games out there at the moment including Sony’s God of War for the PlayStation 4 and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for the Nintendo Switch. Talking of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, it has remained steady at number two, which is great news for Nintendo UK. Here’s the best-sellers this week:

  1. That’s impressive to stay at number two for another week. I can understand some people being disappointed with Wii u games being ported if they’ve played them before but you can’t really argue when the sales are so good. Giving these games a second chance and being played by more people is definitely a good thing.

  2. See if the Switch port of Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze sold well, that means we’re going to see a new Donkey Kong 64 sequel made by Nintendo and Playtonic Games for the Switch! In the same vein as Super Mario Odyssey! Woo hoo!
