Nintendo has been applying for a lot of trademarks lately, and the company has continued that trend today. However, this time, they are not alone. Nintendo, Creatures Co., Ltd. and Game Freak have filed some new trademark applications for Pokemon and Pikachu. Apparently, these trademarks will be used for “classification of goods and services and designated goods or designated services” and “toys, dolls and entertainment equipment”. So, it doesn’t seem to be directly related to the development of video games.
