UK: Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy Is Fastest Selling Switch Game This Year

We published the UK video game charts earlier and one detail which has since emerged is that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy on the Nintendo Switch is now the fastest-selling game for the platform this year. You can view the full charts here.

“The Switch version of Crash is actually the fastest selling Switch game released this year. Although that’s perhaps not too surprising considering its lower-than-usual RRP of £30.”

      3. @gamingfan2009 Nice moving of the goalposts. You get destroyed and shown up for the fool you are, and so instead you decide actually we’re only talking about new games. You cluelessly dismiss great new games for Switch like Mario Tennis Aces as “shovelware”. Brilliantly, you then list a number of new games the competition will be getting that include some that are coming to Switch missing your point entirely – not to mention that several of the games you listed are no less deserving of the title “shovelware” than Mario Tennis Aces and Super Mario Party (but I really think you ought to learn what shovelware actually is because it’s apparent you don’t understand the term).

Ignorance and idiocy are traits to be expected in someone who actually bothers to visit a Nintendo news website simply to troll its users, but the levels of ignorance and idiocy as well as your determination to prove your foolishness right is pretty exceptional. Please continue posting here, I appreciate the opportunity for a hearty laugh.

    2. Kind of pointless arguing with someone as blinkered as you but the fact is you said there have been NO games when the reality is that there have been hundreds of games released this year. Whether they are old or you think they are any good is irrelevant when you make a blanket statement like that that is simply untrue.

      1. Do you not understand what the word no means? That was what you said and so that’s what I am criticising for. Had you said “the Switch has hardly had any new games this year mostly ports of old games then

    3. Jesus man, your really pathetic.

GamerFan2009: “Switch has no games this Year!”
*Random guy mentions all games released this year*
      Gamerfan2009: “those games don’t count!”

Just admit it. You got served 😂😂😂

      1. In case you’ve actually been somewhere else on the internet, this game is actually getting a lot of positive reaction due to it being a return to the original formula of Mario Party. So, yeah people DO care about this title.

  1. Just because you don’t like them doesn’t meant that they aren’t good games that other people do like, will buy, will play, and will have fun with. Still, tons of games. That’s undeniable.

      1. Kirby Star Allies. But, I know what’ll happen. You will reply saying “That doesn’t count”. Even though it does count, since it’s a first party title and it was advertised all the way back in last year’s E3.

      2. You’ve completely missed the point. There are a lot of people with Switches who never bought a Wii u. It’s not just about you….

  2. But why though? I don’t know why the first game even got a sequel, let alone a trilogy. Crash was one of the most ugly and unlikable me-too mascots of the 90s, and playing 5 minutes of the on-rails platforming back then was enough to make me confident I never wanted to play any more. Looking at the remasters gives me no reason to change my mind. The gameplay and movement looks as awful as I remember.

There are better old franchises more worthy of remasters. Like, any game that was actually fun to play.
