2018 Pokemon World Championships Streaming Schedule

Competitive Pokémon play takes the global stage for the 2018 Pokémon World Championships, beginning Friday, August 24. The Pokémon Company International will broadcast four streams live on Twitch, including a main stage stream that will rotate gameplay content and show all the finals matches. The live stream from Nashville, Tennessee, will feature interesting matches all three days of the competition and include live expert commentary.

The 2018 Pokémon World Championships is an international event where the world’s most elite Pokémon video game and Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) players from more than 35 countries will compete for the coveted title of Pokémon World Champion and more than $500,000 in scholarships and prizes.

The four streams are:

Streaming Schedule: All times CDT
 

Friday, August 24:

Opening Ceremony on all four streams at 9 a.m.

Main Stream:

  • 9:45 a.m.: VGC Swiss Rounds
  • 2:45 p.m.: TCG Swiss Rounds
  • 6:45 p.m.: Off Air

Pokémon VG Stream:

  • 11:45 a.m.: VGC Swiss Rounds
  • 7 p.m.: Off Air

Pokémon TCG Stream:

  • 9:45 a.m.: TCG Swiss Rounds
  • 5:30 p.m.: Off Air

Pokkén Tournament DX Stream:

  • 9:45 a.m.: Last Chance Qualifier, Masters Division
  • 5 p.m.: Off Air

Saturday, August 25:

Pokémon Main Stream:

  • 9 a.m.: TCG Day 2 Swiss Rounds
  • 3 p.m.: Pokkén Tournament Senior Finals, followed by Masters Finals
  • 6:15 p.m.: VG Top Cut
  • 9:15 p.m.: Off Air

Pokémon VG Stream:

  • 9 a.m.: VG Day 2 Swiss Rounds
  • 4:30 p.m.: VG Top Cut
  • 7:45 p.m.: Off Air

Pokémon TCG Stream:

  • 11:30 a.m.: TCG Day 2 Swiss Rounds
  • 6:15 p.m.: TCG Top Cut
  • 10:15 p.m.: Off Air

Pokkén Tournament DX Stream:

  • 9 a.m.: Pokkén Tournament Championship Series Masters Bracket
  • 3 p.m.: Off Air (Finals matches will be shown on main stream)

Sunday, August 26:

Pokémon Main Stream:

  • 9 a.m.: The following matches will be played in order: TCG Junior Finals, TCG Senior Finals, TCG Masters Finals, VG Junior Finals, VG Senior Finals, VG Masters Finals
  • Afterward: Closing Ceremony

  1. More Pokemon stuff? “sigh” when will this series die? OK the games USED to be fun but then there’s those kind of players that take the fun out of the game and be giant dicks and don’t get me started on the players that name their children after Pokemon I know a couple in Toronto that named their Daughter Pikachu, and I said to them i know you love pokemon but that poor child is going to get bullied or worse please consider changing her name for the child’s sake.

    but nope they said it’s a perfect name and now the child is getting bullied and subjected to getting laughed at. So I say to all Pokemon players out there don’t name your offspring after a pokemon , It’s just wrong. Pet’s are understandable but you wont catch me wandering the streets yelling a pokemon name.
