Gear.Club Unlimited 2 Coming To Nintendo Switch 4th December 2018

Microïds and Eden Games reveal new images for Gear.Club Unlimited 2 and confirm its worldwide release on December 4th 2018. This racing game exclusive to the Nintendo Switch will offer players a vast area to explore with more than 3000 km of races. On the mountainside, through a nature park, in the middle of the desert or along the coast, they will discover 250 races, including championships, missions and challenges.

As they progress through the game, players will need to upgrade their vehicles to climb the rankings, using the seven workshops in their specially equipped garage – the performance shop. 1. After playing Forza horizon 4 this will be hard to bear. I love racing games but after Mario Kart and Fast RMX nothing good followed up on the Switch…

    1. I agree the Switch is really lacking when it comes to racing games. Only decent one I know of on the horizon is V rally 4. It makes it worse when you know Nintendo is sitting on franchises like F Zero, Wave race and 1080.

  2. I miss the midnight club trilogy for ps2. I wish rockstar would port it to nintendo switch, even if the soundtrack was altered like on budokai hd and tony hawk hd. Need for speed most wanted is my favorite racing game for game boy advance. Too bad EA is a horrible company who won’t re release it.

  3. It is so sad that the only ones even ATTEMPTING to fill the Enormous gap of Road & Track arcade/sim racers are a mobile developer.

Why does Nintendo not have its own Road Car series? Sony has Gran Turismo. Microsoft has Forza. Both have Need For Speed and Project CARS. (Nintendo at least had a good NFS on WiiU) All have Kart Racers of some kind (Nintedo has the best, obviously) … but Nintendo does not seem to think gamers who want to race sports cars are important to their platform it would seem. As a Nintendo Fan and a Huge Road & Track Racing Fan, I PROTEST.

I Want a GOOD R&T Racing Game on SWITCH.

… heck … I’d take an updated port-port of the NFS game on WiiU. ‘Most Wanted U’ was a really good game, even without analog triggers.

‘Wave Race’ -> “Road Race”?? … Come ON Nintendo!

Bright Side … though the first game (Unlimited) looked too Generic and On-Rails Mobile-Style (and overpriced at $45 for a game that’s FREE on mobile), at least in description, this sequel sounds like it might be worth checking out … maybe.

… at a reasonable price … and on sale …

I’ll wait for Video and Reviews first.

  4. … okay, I just looked up gameplay of the Mobile Version. Car Models and sounds are good, but the track design and gameplay are still rooted deeply in ‘Mobile Racing Game’ … as in, impressive on a phone, but shallow and dissapointing compared to a REAL Sim/Arcade Racer, as can be found on the other platforms.

    SWITCH Deserves BETTER !!!

    1. When you say “poor” you have to be specific. This is not “poor” by American standards of being low income & depending on welfare. Compared to Forza this is “3RD WORLD COUNTRY POOR”. Meaning:
Living butt naked in a hut made of mudd, no bed, no chairs, no table, while eating bark off a tree & drinking dirty water out your hands!!!

  5. I Agree with all the aforementioned comments!!! Other than MK8, Fast Racing RMX, & those fun Indie Racers. The SWITCH horribly needs some quality racers. This “Gear.Club” is mediocrity at its best. I also wish they’d port:
    …to the SWITCH!!!
