While the Battle Royale mode is completely free-to-play, Season Passes and cosmetics can be purchased with the in-game currency V-Bucks. So Epic Games must be making a truckload of money.

I have 100+ hours in the game and I have not bought season passes or skins. Those things are not needed at all since they don’t give you an upper hand at the game. Just seems to me that you dismissed the game real quick.
