Level-5, the prominent Japanese developer behind a number of hit franchises, has apparently experienced a massive employee exodus. The news comes from a Japanese publication which is called Nifty News, but it hasn’t been verified, so it is currently marked as a rumour. Level-5 hasn’t had much luck lately as two of the games from its forthcoming Nintendo Switch lineup have been delayed. Yo-Kai Watch 4 and Inazuma Eleven Ares have both recently been delayed until Spring 2019 and Winter.

Hopefully this is fake. I was thinking about buying the Layton games in the future as I like some puzzle games. If the rumor is true, I hope that they eventually recover.
