Europe: Top 3 Best-Selling Games Of 2018

2018 was a bumper year for owners of all three platforms and chart company GFK Entertainment has revealed the three games which sold the most last year in Europe. With Europeans being football mad it comes as no surprise to see FIFA 19 top the charts. It was followed by Rockstar’s epic Red Dead Redemption and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

  1. Is this one of those times where you’re rushing to post something in your blog and neglected checking what you’ve posted? Europe is one of the seven continents by the way. It’s great to know that people in that continent appreciate brilliant games such as FIFA 19, Red Dead Redemption and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Meanwhile, either PS4 or Switch drifts in and out as the best-selling console in Europe.

  2. For people who are confused as to why FIFA has spot one (and why smash for example isn’t on the list):

FIFA. Spot one. Well we haven’t seen a FIFA game in a few years so I guess people were excited for a new installment.

Not seeing smash on there is not surprising. FIFA completely demolished smash in terms of quality gameplay. EVERYONE IS HERE!
FIFA has them all. With a character roster that is very easily unlocked unlike smash which sells you booster packs which let’s you draw random characters. (Basically a loot box).
Sure, you CAN unlock every smash player but it will take you 4000 hours or 2000USD but the next smash game is launching in a half year which will render your intense grinding useless if you want to stay up to date on the latest and greatest installment.
Smash is copy past and people in Europe know it!

    As for call of duty:
The last time we have seen a CoD Game was 5 years ago and with a brand new multiplayer concept, battle Royal, which has NOT been seen in ANY game of 2018 it is only logical that the game would fly off store shelves. And if the all new battle Royal mode wasn’t enough to convince people then the in game offers should.
It’s hard to skip a game with such great in game deals like CoD such as a Dot for only a Euro!!

And as for red dead redemption 2:
Well… That game actually deserves its spot tbh
